The two people killed on the weekend in a three-vehicle accident near Weyburn have been identified.

Eric Calibaba and his father-in-law Dale Chessall were killed in the collision on Highway 13 Saturday afternoon.  It is believed the car containing Calibaba and Chessall was waiting to turn when it was struck from behind by another vehicle causing their vehicle to burst into flames.

Calibaba and his wife Charissa had just become parents for the first time as they recently had a daughter.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Charissa to help her get through maternity leave.  That page has already doubled the intended target.

At this time, RCMP are still investigating the crash and have not announced whether or not any charges will be laid.
