Many will be glued to their computer Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. hoping to get their hands on tickets for Garth Brooks’ August 10th show at Mosaic Stadium.

Brooks spoke with 620 CKRM’s Jamie Lewis and Gloria Evans Thursday morning, and explained why tickets are always a set price of $80.00 no matter where you sit.

“It makes every seat kind of like front row, and that’s what you wanna do,” Brooks said. “So it’s like serve dessert first, it’s also cool because there is no pricing tiers, so wherever you sit in the stadium it just means the order that you kind of got thrown into the system in. So no one takes priority over anyone, that night we’re all one,” Brooks continued.

He’s also a big supporter of Saskatchewan country music fans.

“Your building is going to look better after they leave it then when we got there, because that’s how they (Saskatchewan country music fans) do things, they’re going to be sweet to one another, this is going to be a great night, and even though this is the first country music show Mosaic has seen, after this there’s going to be one every week because they’ll be such a joy to have around,” Brooks said.
