An 82-year-old Canora woman was killed, and a 37 year old Yorkton woman was seriously injured in a three vehicle accident on Highway 9 north of Yorkton on Saturday.

RCMP say the elderly woman was the driver of a mini-van that hit a utility trailer, and a pick-up driven by the younger woman, who was taken to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance.

The occupants of the vehicle towing the trailer were not injured.

RCMP continue to investigate, and say the name of the deceased woman will not be released.
