With just a couple of days before the 2019 CFL season starts,  TSN has unveiled its list of top 50 players.

Media from across the country were asked to pick their top 40 players with a minimum number of players at each position required,  The player also has to be in the league this year.

The top two players should come as no surprise as Bo Levi Mitchell and Mike Reilly top the list.

The top Rider is defensive lineman Micah Johnson at four.  Johnson played for Calgary last year before signing as a free-agent with the Riders.

Others on the list are William Powell (12), Charleston Hughes (14), Ed Gainey (20), Brendon Labatte (32), Solomon Elimimian (39) and Nick Marshall (42).

Former Rider Willie Jefferson was seventh.

The Riders are in Hamilton to start the season on Thursday.  Game time is 5 PM with our pre-game coverage on 620 CKRM starting at 2.
