Regina Police say a man is in critical condition after being stabbed Wednesday morning just outside the downtown core.

Just after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the area of 14th Avenue and Hamilton Street.

There they located a 53-year-old man with injuries consistent with stab wounds, EMS took the man to hospital in critical condition.

Police do not have a suspect at this time and are continuing to investigate.
