The Saskatchewan Roughriders will begin their 2019 season Thursday when they face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, but will still be without some notable names.

Receiver  Emmanuel Arceneaux and linebacker Solomon Elimimian are both on the one-game injured list, while offensive lineman Brendan Labatte and fullback Patrick Lavoie are on the six-game injured list.

Kienan LaFrance makes his return to the green and white Thursday night as the third running back on the depth chart. LaFrance played for the Riders in 2017 before playing for his hometown team, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

German wide receiver Max Zimmermann is also expected to see some playing time this week.
