A Regina resident has has scored $2-million from the Western 649.
Louis Larson says he couldn’t believe when he won in the June 5th draw.
Larson says he thought the machine goofed up because there were too many zeros behind the number two.
He plans to share the money with his family and maybe buy a new SUV since he hasn’t bought a new car since 1962. Larson adds that it’s nice that he won’t have to worry about money for the rest of his retirement .
The winning ticket was purchased at the Pharmasave on Dewdney Avenue.
