Regina man faces stolen auto charges

A 24 year old Regina man is facing charges for a stolen vehicle.

On Friday at 6:00pm, Regina Police found a vehicle on Dewdney Avenue and Broad Street that had been reported stolen.

Police followed the vehicle to Ingersoll Crescent and Coventry Road where it had been abandoned.

RPS says officers and the canine unit searched the area and found the suspect on foot on Cecil Crescent.

The man did not obey police commands so the canine unit pursued him and he was bitten by one of the dogs.

He was taken to hospital and further investigation linked him to another vehicle theft on May 21st.

Breland Louison is facing multiple charges and appeared in court on Monday.
