Moose Jaw Police has dismissed one of its officers.

Alan Murdock was dismissed Wednesday afternoon following a number of investigations into multiple allegations of misconduct.

According to a release, Murdock is no longer a police officer, is not authorized to engage in any police activities and has none of the authorities vested in a police officer.

The police service says no more information is being released at this time.
