Three-and-a-half years after she disappeared, a charge has been laid in the death of 51 year old Sheree Fertuck.
Her estranged husband, 65 year old Greg Fertuck, was arrested and charged Monday night with first-degree murder and committing an indignity to a human body. He will make his first appearance in a Saskatoon courtroom on Wednesday.
Sheree Fertuck was last seen at her home as she was on her way to haul gravel. Her truck and personal belongings were found at a gravel pit near Kenaston
RCMP Superintendent Derek Williams says news of the charge is solace to the family, but one question still remains.
“The important thing is here that we find Sheree’s body and we bring her back to her family,” Williams said.

The couple were separated at the time of her disappearance. A court document in 2016 said RCMP believed Greg was responsible.
