The Western Women’s Canadian Football League title will be handed out at Mosaic Stadium Saturday afternoon with two familiar foes going at one another.
The Saskatoon Valkyries will take on the Regina Riot in a 4 o’clock start.
The Riot have won the title the last three seasons, including last year’s 14-10 win over Saskatoon, and come into this game after a regular season where they went just 1-3 including two losses to the Valkyries before beating teams from Winnipeg and Edmonton to advance to the championship game.
The Valkyries are no strangers to winning it all either as they have won 5 titles.
