Regina Police are investigating an incident from last night where a person was assaulted with a weapon in east Regina.
Police were dispatched to the scene at 1:30 a.m. to the 300 block of Froom Crescent where a man was shot.
The victim was provided with medical care and was transported to hospital.
This matter is still under investigation.
