Saskatchewan Lieutenant-Governor passes away from pancreatic cancer

The province’s lieutenant-governor has died.  W. Thomas Molloy passed away early Tuesday morning after a battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 78.

Molloy had been installed as the province’s 22nd lieutenant-governor in March of 2018.

Flags on all government of Saskatchewan buildings will fly at half-mast and will continue to do so until he is laid to rest.

A date for that has not been set.

A book of condolence is also available at Government House and the Legislature.
