A 24 year old man has been charged with the city’s fourth murder of the year and many other things .

Jamie Munroe is charged with first degree murder in the death of 21 year old Isaiah Akachuk. His body was found May 18 at 7th and Garnet.

Munroe also faces several attempted murder charges in connection with 11 incidents throughout the city from May 17 to 21. In all, he faces 23 charges.

He made his first court appearance on the matter Thursday morning and will be back in one week’s time.
