A man has been taken to the hospital after a collision in Battleford.

RCMP say officers were called to 29th Street at about 11:00pm Thursday night for a report of an injured man laying on the road.

The man was taken to the Battlefords Union Hospital for treatment and remains there at this time.

Police say the driver involved has been identified and located.

RCMP adds that there is no security threat for residents and the investigation is ongoing.
