Environment Canada has issued several severe thunderstorm warnings and watches across the province.

The weather agency says there is a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and up to nickel size hail.

An intense thunderstorm near the International Border may be producing nickel sized hail as well.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
