Not much information is known, but an incident at the Regina Correctional Centre has put the facility into lockdown.

The ministry of justice does tell us through e-mail that some kind of disturbance occurred on one of the units this morning so a lockdown has been put in place while staff deal with the situation to keep themselves, inmates and the facility safe.

It is not known if there were any injuries or what type of disturbance happened and how many were involved.
