Police in Regina are looking for answers after shots were fired at a vehicle last night.
Officers were dispatched to Fleet Street and Dewdney Avenue East after a report of a suspicious vehicle in east Regina. The incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. when a vehicle was being followed by a suspicious vehicle with four occupants.
While both vehicles were heading west on Victoria Avenue nearing Ring Road, the driver from the suspect vehicle fired four to five rounds at the victim’s vehicle.
The victims, a 19-year-old man and 19-year-old woman, were not physically harmed and managed to turn off and separate themselves from the suspects.
Police say the suspect vehicle was described as an older white Chevrolet Malibu with rust around the wheel wells. It was last seen driving westbound on Victoria Avenue driving towards Ring Road.
The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as an Indigenous man, around 30-40 years of age with a buzz cut hair style.
The other three occupants were described as Indigenous women with long dark straight hair.
