Regina man and teen boy facing weapons related charges after downtown incident

Regina Police have arrested a Regina man and a 13 year-old teen boy with several weapons possession related charges Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the 2100 block of 11th avenue for a report of a man holding a firearm while on a transit bus in the area.

Police were able to locate two suspects and make an arrest without incident. The investigation revealed a pellet gun, tools used for break-ins, and alleged stolen property.

23 year-old Devin McKay is facing six charges, including possession of a weapon, while a 13 year-old boy who can’t be named is facing a charge of failure to comply.
