Much of west-central Saskatchewan is under a severe thunderstorm warning Thursday afternoon.
This area includes Kindersley, Rosetown, Martensville, The Battlefords, as well as surrounding areas.
Environment Canada says the storm cell is capable of producing 90 km/h winds along with quarter-sized hail.
Several other areas are also facing tornado watches, including Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Outlook, Meadow Lake, and their surrounding areas.
Environment Canada adds that with the strength of the storm, some areas could see tornado-like activity, along with large hail.
Other areas, including Melfort, Humboldt, Kamsack, Hudson Bay, and Lloydminster as well as their surrounding areas, are under a thunderstorm watch.
