A man has been charged in connection to the suspicious death of another man on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Prince Albert RCMP, along with major crimes unit, first responded to the scene when the victim was found unresponsive on Sunday morning. EMS declared the man dead on scene.

Further investigation has led to the arrest of 40 year-old Ryan Daniels, who is now charged with manslaughter in the death of 48 year-old Darwin Naytowhow.

Daniels made his first court appearance Friday morning.
