Regina Police advising public of fake donation canvassers

Regina Police is advising the public to ask for credentials from door-to-door canvassers whenever they come to your property.

This comes after some people claiming to be from the North Central Family Centre were seen going door-to-door asking for recycling, despite the family centre reporting that they are not canvassing.

The NCFC says whenever they do canvass for donations, the group is in a clearly marked van with the family centre logo on the vehicle.

If you catch someone falsely representing an organization for donations of any kind, you are advised to contact Regina Police or crimestoppers, as they can be charged with fraud.
