Missing teens in northern B.C now considered murder suspects and may be in Sask

There has been a startling twist to the story of a couple who were shot to death in northern B.C earlier this month.

RCMP say two teenagers from Port Alberni who were thought to be missing are now suspects and that they were believed to have been seen in northern Saskatchewan.

RCMP say 18 year old Bryer Schmegelsky and 19 year old Kam McLeod are now suspects in the double homicide of 23-year-old Lucas Fowler of Australia and his American girlfriend, 24-year-old Chynna Deese.

The bodies of the two were found near their vehicle.  They had been shot to death.

The pair are also considered a suspect in the death of a man found near a burning truck that had been used by the teenagers.

Investigators have issued an alert for the two saying it is believed they are in a 2011 Grey Toyota Rav-4 and that they were last seen in northern Saskatchewan in the Meadow Lake area.

Later Tuesday, RCMP in Manitoba said the pair may now be in their province.
