Another SaskParty MLA has announced he will not seek re-election.

Herb Cox, the MLA for the Battlefords riding since 2011, says it is time to move aside and let the next person continue on with the work.

During his time in government, Cox has served in cabinet as Minister of the Environment, Minister of Advanced Education and Minister Responsible for SaskWater.

Cox says when he looks back at his time in government and what he is most proud of, it is the investments made in the city like the brand-new Saskatchewan Hospital that opened last year.
