Traffic near the intersections of Highways 1 and 9 near Whitewood is down to one lane after what RCMP are calling a “serious collision”

Those in the area are being asked to use caution when in the area, and to be aware of emergency personnel working on scene.

It is not known how many vehicles were involved, how many people were involved and what type of injuries have been sustained.

The accident happened during the noon hour on Wednesday

Whitewood is about 170 kilometres east of Regina.
