Since the RCMP made a public plea for tips about a dark coloured tarp-like polyethylene material in the search for Sheree Fertuck, about five new tips have come in.
The 51 year old was last seen at the family farm near Kenaston in December of 2015 and then her truck was found at a nearby gravel pit, with her coat, keys and cell phone inside.
Saskatchewan RCMP spokesperson, Jessica Cantos, says investigators have spoken directly to those who have called in the tips and they continue to encourage anyone with information to contact the police.
Last week, the RCMP released information on the areas that have been searched, which is the area where if the tarp material has been found, the public should contact police.
Sheree’s estranged husband Greg Fertuck has been charged with first degree murder and causing indignity to a body. He appeared by video in court on Monday where a bail hearing date was to be set, but it was adjourned until August 14th.
The search parameters are as follows:
North of the gravel pit that is directly south and adjacent to Highway 15.
South of the Highway 765 grid extension
East of the Highway 764 grid extension
