Regina police once again asking for information on Tuesday abduction

Regina Police are once again asking for people to come forward with information about an abduction that happened during the middle of the day in a parking lot.

Just after noon on Tuesday, police were called to the Northgate Mall for a report of an abduction. A vehicle had driven into the lot followed by another car. A suspect exited the second car holding what appeared to be a firearm and pointed it at driver of the vehicle. The driver exited the vehicle and was forced into the other vehicle with the suspect. Both vehicles then drove away with no shots fired.

At this time, police say the incident does not appear to be a random act. They are looking for information on a black car or smaller SUV with four doors and a roof rack that was involved along with its owner or occupants.
