Arrests made in Saskatoon following stabbing at park

Police in Saskatoon were dispatched to a park near downtown Friday night after receiving a call of a man suffering from a stab wound.

After the call at 9:39 p.m., police arrived at Leif Erikson to find an injured 29-year-old man. He was immediately transported to hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Following the incident, officers were able to locate the suspects and arrested a 28-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman in two separate residences by the park.

It is understood by police the victim and suspects are known to each other.
