Regina police investigating Sunday armed robbery

Police in Regina are investigating a robbery with a firearm that occurred in the 4600 block of 4th Avenue early Sunday morning.

Officers were dispatched just before 3:53 a.m. after receiving the call.

An individual driving a white Nissan Murano was stopped by two men in the driving lane. One of the suspects was holding a gun in his hand.

The victim was then taken out of his vehicle, assaulted by the suspects, who then entered the SUV and drove away. The victim suffered minor injuries from the incident.

At around 6:30 a.m., police recovered the SUV unoccupied in the 1300 block of Wascana Street.

The two suspects are described as Indigenous 22-year-old men, standing at 5’9″ and weighing 165 lbs. While both were wearing dark hoodies, one of the suspects was wearing a black bandana over his face, the other was wearing a red bandana.
