A search is underway for a man who went missing on Blackstrap Lake.

Saskatoon RCMP were called to the lake on Saturday at about 8:45pm for a report of a 36 year old man who went missing while jet skiing.

Dundurn Fire and Rescue, STARS, Saskatoon Police and Fire searched the area but were unsuccessful due to the darkness and strong winds.

The Manitoba RCMP Underwater Recovery Team has been called in to assist with the search.

Police remain on scene at the far north end of the lake, north of the bridge, and are restricting boat traffic in the area.

You are being asked to use alternate boat launches and provide sufficient space while the search is underway.
