Man missing on Blackstrap Lake now presumed drowned

RCMP say a missing man on Blackstrap Lake is now presumed drowned.

The Saskatchewan and Manitoba RCMP Underwater Recovery Team have been searching for a 36 year old man who had gone missing while jet skiing on July 27th.

Police say the search efforts had negative results and based on the evidence gathered, the man is presumed drowned.

Victim Services has been called in to provide support for the family.

RCMP will continue to patrol the north shoreline of the lake, north of the bridge, until recovery efforts are complete.

The boat launches have been reopened and regular boating traffic has resumed.
