Rainfall Warnings and Severe Thunderstorm watches in effect Wednesday morning

Environment Canada has issued a Rainfall Warning for the Kamsack, Canora and Preeceville area Wednesday morning.

The weather office says periods of torrential rain Wednesday morning could produce between 50 and 100 millimeters of rainfall.

The rain is expected to taper off from west to east by mid-morning.

A Severe Thunderstorm watch is also in effect for the area as well as for the Humboldt, Wynyard, Wadena, Lanigan and Foam Lake regions.
