Regina Police have arrested a man involved with a hit and run incident that took place Tuesday on the 1400 block of Albert street.

Police received information that the suspect bumped into a cyclist, and then ran over the bike before speeding away. A 60 year-old woman suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Later in the day, police observed a stolen vehicle at the corner of Hamilton Street and Saskatchewan Drive. It was determined the driver, a 27 year-old man, was involved in the earlier hit and run incident.

Cody Whiteman is facing three charges, including failure to stop after an accident and possession of property obtained by crime over five thousand dollars.
