Regina Police are investigating after what appears to be an assault.

Officers were called to the 2200 block of Osler Street at about 6:20pm Thursday to assist EMS with an injured person.

A 36 year old man appeared to have non-life threatening injuries to one of his hands and his face.

He was transported to hospital.

RPS says it is believed the injuries were the result of an assault.

The investigation is ongoing.
