Heat warning continues in southern SK; severe thunderstorm warnings in effect as well

While trying to stay cool in southern Saskatchewan on Saturday, some places will have you keeping your eye to the sky for severe weather.

A heat warning that has been in effect since Thursday continues with temperatures in many places expected to get above 30 degrees including Regina.  Saturday should be the last day as a front moving in from Alberta is coming into the province which will reduce temperatures by about five to seven degrees making it more comfortable.

The hot, humid conditions have resulted in Environment Canada issuing some severe thunderstorm warnings for the southeast part of the province including Moosomin, Carlyle and Kipling.

A complete look at what areas are under heat warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings can be found here.
