Seventh person charged in Tiki Laverdiere murder wanted on Canada-wide warrant

A seventh person has been charged in relation to the death of Tiki Laverdiere.

The victim’s remains were found outside of North Battleford nearly three months after she traveled to the area for a funeral.

Six people have already been charged, but RCMP say 31 year-old Nikita Cook of the Onion Lake Cree Nation is wanted for first degree murder and kidnapping charges.

Police are actively searching for Cook at this time, and advise the public to not approach her.

Anyone with information on Cook’s whereabouts are to contact their local RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
