Crews from the city of Regina have begun fixing a water leak that occurred Thursday in the Regina General Hospital area.
The city has confirmed the leak started on 13th Avenue east of Broad Street. However the General Hospital still has water service.
Water levels rose high enough late Thursday morning to submerge sidewalks, roads and even some vehicles in the neighbourhood.
Some flooding on Victoria Avenue between St. John Street and Thomson Community School. Few vehicles on south side of Vic are submerged or close to being submerged. Looks like some of the water is starting to drain now. #YQR @620ckrm pic.twitter.com/fhlLGS9JaZ

Workers are attempting to repair the break as soon as possible. While repairs are made, the city has closed 13th Avenue between St. John Street and Ottawa Street for one day.
No other details have been released by the city in regards to the cause of the break or how many residents were affected by the incident.
