New grain terminal opens in northwest Sask

G3 Canada has officially opened a new high throughput grain elevator in Maidstone, about 425 kilometers northwest of Regina.
G3 Canada says the terminal has fast truck-unloads and a railway loop track that can quickly fill a 150-car train and keep grain moving to market.
G3 Canada president Don Chapman says the terminal has 42 thousand ton capacity.
G3 is building a Vancouver grain export terminal expected to be operational next year.
G3 has five more elevators under construction in Alberta, with one due to open this year and the rest in 2020.
