Severe thunderstorm watch for southeast SK

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the southeast corner of the province.

The weather agency says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop in southeastern Saskatchewan late this afternoon and this evening along a trough of low pressure. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe.
