Citizens invited to be a part of Regina singer’s music video recording

If you’ve ever wanted to be in a music video, now’s your chance.

Regina singer/songwriter JJ Voss is recording a music video to his new song “Come Along With Me” Sunday afternoon in the Queen City. All he needs for the video is people of all ages to be a part of it.

Filming starts at 4:00 p.m. in downtown Regina at the corner of 12th Avenue and Scarth Street.

President Barb Dedi of the Saskatchewan Association of Human Rights is working with Voss on the video.

She stated how it’s a great way to get people to stand up and walk hand-in-hand.

“People don’t have these types of opportunities all the time to come out and be part of a video casting, so I think people should jump at these opportunities and come out together and have fun on a nice summer day in Regina.”

Voss mentioned how the song is an ode to the divided times we live in these days.

“This is kind of a call to action to bring people from all walks of life together just to be good to each other and enjoy each other’s company,” he stated. “What we want to represent is people from all different cultures, nationalities, Canadians all standing together and supporting each other.”

People looking to be a part of the fun are asked to wear casual clothes.
