Riders receiver Justin McInnis will move into the starting lineup for the Labour Day Classic. Cory Watson has been moved to the 6-game injured list.
Watson missed practice on Friday when the Riders said he was “under the weather”. Now, Head Coach Craig Dickenson says Watson has a knee injury.
The team is awaiting medical tests to determine how bad the injury is.
Dickenson says Justin McInnis will take Watson’s place in Sunday’s game. And that they have two or three options for covering the snaps Watson would play.
