A 40 year old woman and 45 year old man are facing multiple charges related to a stolen vehicle investigation over the weekend.

The Regina Police Service says on August 29th, a black Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported stolen.

Police say officers found the Jeep on Sunday at about 7:00pm.

The vehicle was followed to the 700 block of Victoria Avenue and two people in the vehicle were arrested in a nearby business without incident.

Officers found a knapsack with several stolen identity documents in the vehicle.

RPS says 40 year old Crystal Desnomie is facing a total of 36 charges including 19 counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, 10 counts of possession of identity documents and 5 counts of possession of stolen credit cards.

Forty-five year old Campbell Bellgarde is facing two charges including possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Both accused made their first court appearance on Tuesday.
