Saskatchewan farmers made limited harvest progress this week, hampered by cool wet weather.
The latest crop report says Saskatchewan farmers have combined 11 percent of the harvest, up from 6 percent last week.
Provincial crops analyst Shannon Friesen says harvest is well behind the average of 28 percent for this date.
She says farmers are looking for warm dry weather.
She says some crops are showing signs of damage from recent rainfall.
She says there are reports of sprouting and bleaching in some crops from the moisture.
Friesen says yields are wide ranging and is hoping for an average crop.
Harvest ranges from 20 percent in the southwest to 3 percent in east central Saskatchewan.
Rainfall ranged from a trace this week to 45 millimeters at Lampman in the southeast.
Friesen says most crop damage this week was due to localized flooding, strong winds, light frost and excess moisture.
