The curling season is underway and it was a good start for the Regina rink skipped by Matt Dunstone.

Dunstone had not been beaten going into the final of the “Stu Sells Oakville Tankard”, but they could not finish the weekend with a perfect record as John Epping defeated Dunstone in the final by a score of 7-3.  Dunstone, who lost the SaskTel Tankard final last year to Kirk Muyres,  beat Muyres in his Saskatoon rink in the quarter-final and Pat Ferris of Grimsby, Ontario in the semi before losing to Epping.

Sweden’s Anna Hasselborg won the women’s side.  There were no Saskatchewan rinks entered.
