Prince Albert RCMP responded to an early morning shooting on the RM of Buckland on Wednesday.

Crews were able to locate the victim off of highway 2, and treated the man for serious, but not life threatening injuries.

The name of the victim has not been released, but RCMP believe this is not a random incident, and there is no risk to the public at this time. Their investigation is ongoing.
