A grain market analyst says Canola prices have improved in recent days due to better market prospects.
Neil Townsend with FarmLink Marketing Solutions said canola prices have strengthened partly due to better trade relations between the U.S. and China.
He added there are good opportunities to expand canola exports to the European Union, where it is used as an additive to diesel fuel.
Townsend also said wheat prices are expected to hover around 6 dollars a bushel because of abundant global supplies, particularly in the European Union, Russia and the U.S.
