The Regina Pats have traded 19 year-old back-up goaltender Dean McNabb to the Winnipeg ICE.
McNabb went 8-16-0-1 in his only season with the Pats last year, posting a 4.20 save percentage and an .875 save percentage. He also picked up his first career WHL shutout.
In exchange, the Pats will get a 2021 seventh round bantam draft pick.
Regina acquired McNabb before last season from the Victoria Royals.
The Pats then announced the acquisition of 18 year-old goaltender Danton Belluk from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a conditional eighth round pick in 2021.
Belluk has yet to play a WHL game, but the Lorette, MB product put up a 2.90 GAA and a .922 SV% in 27 games last year in the Manitoba Midget Hockey League.
The Pats will begin their 2019-20 regular season with their home opener on Friday night when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors at the Brandt Centre with a 7:00 puck-drop.
