- Eleven years ago today Brad Paisley landed his 12th career number one with “Waitin’ on a Woman.”
- George Fox was climbing the Canadian charts this week back in 1988 with his debut single “Angelina.”
- John Conlee managed to get his seventh and final number 1 hit on this day in 1986 with “Got my Heart Set on You.”
- Going back to 1975, Ronnie Milsap reached number 1 south of the border with his first single from his “Night Things” album. “Daydreams about Night Things.” stayed at number 1 for two weeks that year.
- September 21st, 1991 Lionel Cartwright got his first and only number 1 with “Leap of Faith.”
- Cyndi Thomson debuted with a number 1 song September 22nd, 2001 with “What I Really Meant to Say.”
- “Dive Bar” by Gord Bamford shot to number 1 in Canada one year ago this weekend.
