Regina holding one of last Hazardous Waste Days of 2019 on Saturday

If you have hazardous waste you need to get rid of, today is one of the last days you can do it.

The City of Regina is encouraging the public to dispose of their household hazardous waste by taking part in one of the last free Household Hazardous Waste Days of the year.

Citizens can drop off materials on Saturday until 4:00 p.m. at the city’s public works yard located at 2400 6th Avenue. The gates will close 15 minutes early to allow vehicles to unload before they close.

Items such as chemicals, paints and fertilizers, aerosols and batteries will be accepted at the yard. View the complete list of acceptable items by visiting the city’s website.

The city is also asking residents to properly label items before dropping them off.

If you’re unable to make it Saturday, there’s another collection day scheduled for October 26.
