Friday after work I had to scoot over and pick up one of our granddaughters who was going to be spending the afternoon with papa. The first thing we did was call grandma and see if she wanted to meet us for lunch. After lunch our next stop was Dollarama. I don’t know what it is about that place, but that girl just can’t enough of it. After that we headed home where I had a dog that was long overdue for his trip outside to the yard to go to the bathroom.
That afternoon we were watching TV when a commercial came on for a new toy called “Owleez.” It’s a plastic owl that actually flies. Not only did it get Kelcey’s attention, I thought it looked pretty darn cool myself. That was enough for her. Out came the pen and paper. It was time to draft up an early Christmas wish list with “Owleez” going right to the top of the list.
Next on her list was a $100 Amazon gift card. I asked her, “Do you even know how to order off of Amazon.” Personally, I’ve never ordered anything off of that website, but apparently she’s an old pro and only 10 years old!
So there I was. 3 weeks away from Halloween with a Christmas list in front of me.
Can Christmas music blaring through the speakers at all of the stores be far behind?
